My favorite band....= Panic! At The Disco

The members of the group are, Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Jon Walker, and Spencer Smith. Their first album released in 2005, was Fever You Can't Sweat Out, reached number thirteen on the US Billboard 200, and sold over 2.2 million copies.

 Their most recent album, released March 25, 2008,was Pretty. Odd.That's the title, it's not just an opinion. This album is different from their first album in many ways. For example, in the first album, the titles of the songs were named after books and movies, as for their new album, the titles are actual lines from the song. The sound is a little different too, their sound is a happier tune. "In early 2007, Panic at the Disco began writing their follow up album but decided to rewrite the entire album from scratch in July 2007. While speaking to MTV, Ryan Ross explained that the album lacked a band set up "sounded like a film score." He also explained that the new songs have "a more positive outlook to them." The band also began performing new songs during various festivals and gigs - two of these songs: "Nine in the Afternoon" and "When the Day Met the Night"."

Panic at the disco is known for their Mock Victorian circus shows. They bring contortionists and dancers on the stage to bring the whole theme together. While some refer to them as an emo style, they state that they want to be the new Radiohead. Their albums are different styles from eachother, but, they're both great and recommended to anyone. The style of the newer album is influenced by the Beach Boys, The Beatles, and the Kinks. I recommend both albums, but i recommend the newer one more.
